May Goals Recap

Here is my recap for the month of May. I think I did a good job overall with my goals. There were a couple that I completely failed, but did see improvement for most.

1. 10,000 steps daily

14/31

The only days I was able to reach 10,000 steps were the days I worked. Next month I plan to walk and run more so I can reach this goal

2. No Twitter

30/31 I only went on Twitter once and I honestly did not miss it.

3. No shopping at Walmart or Target

29/31 I didn’t do any shopping at Walmart, but I did shop twice at Target, mostly for things that were necessary.

4. Run 30 miles

This is a goal that I failed at. I didn’t run a single mile this month. Just had a hard time motivating myself, especially given everything that is going on. Also, I don’t like running in my neighborhood because it gets boring.

5. Watch TV only 2 times a week

3/4

The first three weeks went well. The last week of May I ended up watching tv/Youtube four days.

6. Use phone less than 6 hours a day

24/31

For the most part I was successful at this. I know I can improve on this next month.

7. Post 3 videos in YouTube

0/3

This didn’t happen. I didn’t post a single video. Partially because I just don’t feel like anyone will even watch what I post, so why bother.

8. Write 5 posts for my blog

5/5

I barely accomplished this one. Posted five posts for my blog. Hoping to post more next month because I have plenty posts saved in my drafts.

9. No fast food

29/31

I did well. I only ate fast food twice this month, but I want this number to be zero for the month of June.

10. Read 4 books

10/4

I ended up reading 10 books this month.

March Goals Recap and April Goals

Here’s my recap for my March goals

1. Run 30 miles

Did this, ran exactly 30 miles with only two runs, a 5k and a full marathon, the LA Marathon to be exact. Ran a little more because of all the crowds

2. Read 5 books

I actually ended up reading 8 books

3. Taking part in Meatless March

I started this and only ended up doing this for about 10/11 days.

4. Use phone less than 45 hours a week

I did so well in the first two weeks, but after we were told to stay at home, my phone usage definitely went up.

5. Post 5 posts on my blog

I was so close! only posted 4 posts

6. Post 3 videos on Youtube

Did not post a single video on YouTube because I couldn’t come up with an idea for any videos

April Goals

I am not setting any goals for April. I hope I can eat out less, run more, walk more, read more, and use my phone less, but I won’t be upset or mad at myself if I don’t. Right now we are being told to stay at home as much as possible because of the covid19, aka the coronavirus. The most important thing for me is to stay healthy and keep my daughter healthy and also help keep my family healthy during these tough times.

October Goals

I am about a week late in posting these, better late than never!
Here are my goals for this month. Since I am not rally doing Instacart anymore, I won’t have a goal for making a certain amount of money through a side hustle. Some goals will be the same or similar as the ones from last month.

1. Run 25 miles
2. Post 3 videos on Youtube
3. Post at least 5 posts on my blog
4. Read 5 books ( I have more time this month to read since I am on baby bonding leave for 3 weeks)
5. Write at least 25 pages for a novel (could be a new one or continue working on current one)
6. Go walking with Selena 4 days a week for 30+ minutes
7. Stick to my grocery/eating out budget for this month, which is $250 for both Selena and me
