If I Won the Lottery

I’m sure there are millions of people who dream of winning the lottery. Imagine suddenly winning over 100 million dollars? I can’t imagine having that much money honestly. But if I ever did win the lottery, there are a few things I would definitely do with the money.

1. Pay off debts.
Not just my debts (which isn’t a lot), but I would also help my mom and grandma pay off their debts as well.

2. Buy a car
It wouldn’t be a super fancy, expensive car. A Toyota or Honda would be fine. However, I would get a car of the year

3. Travel to Europe
I would probably have to make two trips, one trip to Europe with my boyfriend and another trip with my family. Or we could all go together and I alternate who I spend time with lol

4. Buy a house
With all that money, I wouldn’t have to rent anymore. I could easily buy a house nearby.

5. Travel around the United States

Also with my bf and family

6. Open a soccer store with my bf

We would sell jerseys, jackets, anything soccer related

7. Own bakery or t shirt store

2014 in review

2014 was a good year for me, well most of it anyways. I would have to say that January through October was good for me 😃 November and December, not so much. What are some major things that hastened in 2014? Here are just a few things that happened last year.

  1. Ayanna Sophia Faith was born. She was born in February 2014 and is such a cute little sister.Definitely one of the best things that happened in 2014.
  2. I finally transferred to an university, Cal State University Los Angeles, aka Cal State L.A.. I was going to Rio Hondo for many years. It took me a while but I finally transferred to a 4 year school.
  3. I went with my sister to the Mall of America with my 16 year old sister. One of my favorite weekend trips. I had wanted to go there for more than 15 years!
  4. Celebrated my one year anniversary with my boyfriend.
  5. Moved out of my home that I had lived in for 7/8 years.
  6. I also got to see Real Madrid play in person for the fourth year in a row! Went to see them with my boyfriend at the Dodger Stadium. We also watched Juventus, LA Galaxy, and Everton. I got to see Fernando Llorente and Claudio Marchisio in person!
  7. One bad thing that happened last year was that Xabi Alonso left Real Madrid. Going to miss him a lot, he was one of my favorite Madrid players!.

my 3 year anniversary at work

It has been 3 years since I started working at my current job, a grocery store, and to be honest,I did not think I’d last this long! 3 years might not seem like a long time to most people, but this is my first job ever and I only expected to be there about 6 months or so. I still remember my first day of work, September 18, 2012. I was so nervous and shy, didn’t talk to many people.Since then, I have met many cool people, including one very important person 😊 This job has taught me a lot. Who knows what the next year will bring.Maybe this time next year I will be working at a new job! *crosses fingers*

Unintentionally Inappropriate

School starts in less than a month. So that’s happening.

I decided it was probably important to get back into my classroom and try to put some sort of plan into action for the year. So I sat down to do some lesson planning. I started with math. I flipped through the pages of the kid’s textbook and came across this photo/caption combo:

IMG_2115How unfortunate.

Naturally, because I have the mind of an adolescent boy (making you proud mom and dad), I laughed out loud to myself at Matthew’s tri-testicle situation. Then I wondered how many children’s books there must be out there that have unintentionally inappropriate circumstances and quotes like this one.

After a quick visit to my local libraries and several Barnes and Nobles, it’s safe to say that there are some truly messed up children’s books out there. And now I will share them with you:

Wimbledon 2015

Congratulations to Serena Williams for winning Wimbledon and to Roger Federer for making it to the final! While I am always happy to see an American win a major, whether it’s singles or doubles, I was disappointed that Novak Djokovic won rather than Roger Federer. I guess it was expected, but I have always been a Federer fan and always root for him no matter what. Anyways, I guess I should be glad that he was able to beat Andy Murray in the semifinals. However, one match that I found really excitng was the match between Stanislaus Wawrinka and Richard Gasquet. It was shocking to see Rafael Nadal lose so early, in the first week! Also, sucks that the Bryan brothers didn’t win the doubles titles, they are my favorite doubles team.
