What do I want in 2013? To be happy. Yes, this sounds lame, but after the last few months, that’s not too much to ask for right? Some other things I want- for my football clubs to do well 🙂 to finally transfer to a 4 year, go to Portland for the weekend, see the USMNT qualify for the 2014 World Cup, do all the things on my 2013 “Bucket List” lol

Looking Back on 2012
Based on some of my posts from the last few months (specifically the ones from November and december), it might seem like 2012 was a horrible year for me, but that’s not true at all! Well, it ended horribly, but the first 9 months of 2012 were pretty good!
One great thing that happened to me was that after almost 4 years, I finally got my braces taken off! Well, it was more like 3 years and 10 months to be exact. I got my braces taken in January, a few weeks before my 21st birthday. I was so happy! It took me a while to get used to it.
Some other good things that happened- I finally graduated and got my AA. Not much, but I’m a step closer to get my bachelor’s degree 🙂 I also got my first job ever! I’m still there, surprisingly lol It’s been 5 months and I’ve met some pretty cool people, and one, well, person who wasn’t so nice. But I think I’ve written enough about that person tbh
I was a LA Galaxy STH and went to so many games. I also went to see USMNT in Arizona, as well as LA Galaxy in Portland. Real Madrid and Tottenham Spurs came to LA and played against LA Galaxy at HDC (Home Depot Center).
For the most part, 2012 was a good year for me. I think November and December were really bad months, because of that person and everything that happened, well more like half of November. But I’m not going to say that 2012 was awful just that one month and a half.
I’m hoping 2013 is much better!
the Iker book – part VI
And we continue with the memories of Iker’s mother…
Memories of his mother: Mari Carmen Fernández on Iker.
I had Iker when I was 22 years old. In other words, I was just a child myself. But I’ve always been very responsible. I studied and I worked. I liked to plan my life very well, but my planning failed when I got pregnant.
Football doesn’t interest me in the least. Zero. But it seems that my life was marked by those who were around me, and they did like football. My boyfriend, who would later become my husband, loved football, as did one of my first bosses. I was working then in media planning, and my boss, JosĂ© MarĂa MartĂnez Rovira, was such a big fan of football that a few years back, he ran for the presidency of Barça, which was won by Laporta. Meanwhile, JosĂ© Luis was sent…
