January 2021 Goals Recap

Last month was another disappointing month as I did not reach my goals yet again. Maybe I am setting my goals way too high, which is why I continue to fail meeting them over and over again. I am hoping that this month I can reach my goals, we’ll see.

1. Post 5 times on my blog *This is one thing I accomplished

2. Run at least 32 miles to celebrate my bday and my daughter’s bday. *I only ran 6 miles in the entire month of January

3. Run 3 times a week. *I only ran 3 or 4 times in the month.

4. Take lunch to work *I rarely worked long enough to take a lunch and the couple times I did, I bought lunch

5. Workout once a week * I still haven’t started working out again

6. No buying fast food * I only bought fast food once, which isn’t too bad considering in December I spent $100

7. Read 5 books *I read 4 books

February 2021 Goals

1. No Spend Month- no spending any money except on groceries, bills, and gas

2. Run 20 miles

3. Use phone less than 6 hours a day

4. No eating fast food

5. Read 3 books

6. Get 10,000 steps a day

7. Post 2 YouTube Videos

8. Post 5 times on my blog

9. Get a haircut

10. Watch YouTube only three times a week

January 2021 Goals

Starting off 2021 by setting a few goals for myself. The last half of 2020 didn’t go too well for me and I didn’t meet most goals. Here are some easy ones I know I can accomplish this month.

1. Post 5 times on my blog

2. Run at least 32 miles to celebrate my bday and Selena’s bday

3. Run 3 times a week

4. Take lunch to work

5. Workout once a week (this doesn’t include my runs)

6. No buying fast food

7. Read 5 books

No More Goals for 2020

I won’t be setting any specific goals for November and December. We are still in a pandemic and honestly, 2020 has been such a tough year for most people, myself included. I do plan to read books, run, and write in this blog, but I won’t add any unnecessary pressure on myself to read a certain number of books or run a certain number of miles. I have ran once this month so far and it felt great! I have also been reading regularly and have enjoyed the books I have read. I do hope to improve more on writing in this blog. I haven’t been doing that consistently. I have no excuse, I have just been a bit lazy. I have been working on Athena Rose, which is the bath, body, and skincare line I founded last year. I am hoping that by the end of 2021, I can provide for my family with just that business.

September Goals Recap and No Goals for October

Here is my recap of my goals for the month of September.

1. Run 30 miles No, ran 0 miles
2. Post 2 videos on YouTube No, didn’t post a single video
3. Sell 25 items on my website or Etsy No, only sold 5 items
4. Publish 5 blog posts No, but was very close. I published 4 blog posts
5. Run virtual Santa Monica 10k No, didn’t run this
6. Read 3 books YES I think I read 4 or 5 books
7. Take lunch to work Yes, I took lunch to work about 80% of the time
8. No fast food or takeout Yes, I didn’t eat fast food or takeout for the whole month
9. Less than 42 hours of phone usage a week No, this was a major fail
10. Run 3 times a week No, didn’t run at all

For the month of October I don’t plan to set any goals. I just feel like I keep setting myself up for failure and disappointment. But I will try to run more, walk more, sell more, write more etc.
