First of all, congratulations to Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka for winning the men and women’s singles title this year. (Although, I wans;t rooting for either of them TBH)
I wanted Roger Federer and Serena Williams to win. Oh well, we can’t always get what we want, right? lol
So how was it? There were some pretty exciting matches- Djokovic v Wawrinka comes to mind. As well as Duckworth v Kavcic.
Some upsets- Li Na defeating Maria Sharapova (in straight sets!!!), Juan Martin del Potro losing to Jeremy Chardy, and of course, Serena Williams losing to Sloane Stephens.
I wasn’t able to watch all the matches, mainly due to the time difference, Australia is about 19 hours ahead of the West Coast. Also, because my laptop doesn’t work -.-
