My Night Routine
My night time routine is even easier than my morning routine. It’s only 3 steps! Here’s my night time routine and the three products I use every night.
- Wash face
- Use night moisturizer
- Put on face oil
My Morning Routine
My morning routine is very simple. I don’t wear makeup, so it only takes me a few minutes to get ready in the morning. I actually have two morning routines, one that I do Sunday and Wednesday and one that I do all the other days.
Sunday/Wednesday Morning Routine
- Wash face
- Use a scrub
- Use a clay mask
- Put on moisturizer
- Put on sunscreen
All Other Days Morning Routine
- Wash face
- Put on moisturizer
- Put on sunscreen
Both morning routines are very simple. With the exception of the moisturizer and sunscreen, I usually buy my products from small businesses or I make them myself.
Grocery Hauls
I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older or because I’m a mom, but I love seeing other people’s grocery hauls! Whether it’s on Instagram or YouTube, I always find it fascinating to see what other people are buying. Which is why I will be posting my grocery hauls on my blog. I will include how much I paid and what i will be using the ingredients for. Most of my grocery hauls will be from Sprouts and Ralph’s, though I will occasionally have some grocery hauls from target, Aldi, Grocery Outlet, and Trader Joe’s. Next week I will be posting all my grocery hauls from this month, but in June, I will post the day I do my shopping. Hope you guys enjoy these posts!
12 Months Postpartum
I have officially been a mom for 1 year. It has been such a roller coaster journey for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love being Selena’s mom. But I admit that it has been more difficult than I had imagined. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without my mom, sister, and grandma. They all helped me so much, especially my mom.
I have learned so much in the first year of raising a baby. It has been so hard to be a mom and work. I would have loved to stay home with the baby for the first year at least, but here in the United States, many of us don’t have the option to stay at home and not work. Working is a necessity for many of us who have to raise our babies. I was lucky enough that for the first year of Selena’s life, she was taken care of by only family. Right now I currently have a part time job, which is a struggle because sometimes it is hard to budget all the bills and everything I need for Selena on such a small income. However, if I had a full time job, that would be more time that I would have to spend away from Selena.
My goal for this year is to make enough money with my businesses so I can spend more time with Selena and finally move out and get a house for just the two of us. If for some reason, my businesses don’t take off by the end of the year, I will most likely start applying for a full time job.
