I don’t have a favorite season, but I do enjoy fall and fall activities! Here’s a list of fall activties you can do with your family, friends, or even by yourself. I tried to include different price ranges and ideas. Not going to lie, it’s a little tough thinking about fall when it’s 100 degrees outside. I live in California and we are currently experiencing a heatwave. It’s been hotter this month so far than it was in August.
- Make or buy caramel apples
- Go to a theme park, I’ll be visiting Knott’s Berry Farm’s Spooky Farm and Universal Studios Hollywood with my daughter and family
- Bake pumpkin cheesecake, bread, or pie
- Go apple picking
- Visit a pumpkin patch
- Go on a hayride
- Have a movie night and watch spooky and Halloween movies
- Bake an apple pie
- Drink a pumpkin spice flavored drink
- Try pumpkin spice and other seasonal goodies from Trader Joe’s, Aldi, or Sprouts
- Run a race, the weather is perfect for running. I’ll be doing a 5k, 10k, and a half marathon next month
- Go trick or treating
- Make a fun or spooky Halloween costume
- Eat candy corn
- Visit a haunted house
- Throw a Halloween party
- Carve a pumpkin
- Bake spooky Halloween cookies and cupcakes
- Buy some fall scented candles and soaps
- Have a picnic at the park
- Tell scary stories
- Make a scarecrow
- Visit a zoo
- Take a nature hike
- Go camping
- Make soup for the family
- Volunteer at a food bank
- Donate sweaters and warm clothing you no longer use
- Take fall family pictures
- Bob for apples
- Have a bonfire
- Make a pot of chili
- Go stargazing
- Have a Harry Potter movie marathon
- Have a fall scavenger hunt
